Session Length: 45 minutes
Individual sessions are a form of iRest where we meet one-on-one and practice noticing and experiencing everything just as it is. We meet without an agenda, not trying to fix or change whatever arises within you during the session.
Each session is unique to you and whatever arises within you in the session. However, the outline of the session(s) is consistent. We begin by inviting you to notice sensations, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, images, memories, etc. that arise. All of these are messengers communicating with us to try to help us. I ask simple questions about you notice in the moment. You lead the way. The end of session focuses on integrating the iRest experience into your daily life and see how it fits.
Private therapeutic yoga sessions
Session length: 60 min
First we meet for a consultation of your history (medical, physical, and emotional). This includes a discussion and establishing of your goals for the private sessions. Based on the information from the intake, I tailor yoga sequences unique to you, your body and your goals. We do these sequences together while learning to focus on our breath and sensations in our bodies, which helps us be less in our heads and gives us the opportunity to be more present in the moment.
